It's been a decent weekend.  Outflix film festival is happening this week.  I was able to attend a screening of a film entitled "Deep South", which reflects on the current status of HIV spreading throughout the south and the lack of funding and education causing further growth and spread of the disease It was interesting talking to the director and producer after the show about the funding and inspiration for the film. The filmmaker, Lisa Biagiotti, worked for PBS and was living in New York when she took on the project.  The film took roughly 2 1/2 years to complete.
